Performance Bandings

For those organisations completing an abbreviated full or medium assessment in cycle 3 (2022/2023), it is recognised that this cycle is not comparative to previous processes and as such scoring is not appropriate in this instance.

In order to support participating organisations in their continuous improvement, you will receive the following feedback from assessors for each question and so be able to identify and develop an appropriate improvement plan:

The tables below detail the Performance Band (based on assessment type and percentage score) which will be awarded to organisations who are either:

• Going through a full or medium PCIP assessment for the first time or
• the respective Centre of Expertise identifies an organisation will be moving to a new PCIP assessment level e.g. due to a spend increase an organisation that previously went through a Lite assessment will now undertake a medium level assessment
• the organisation has agreed with their assessors to participate in a complete assessment rather than the abbrieviated cycle 3 format.

Lite Assessment Performance Bands are being reviewed for Cycle 3 Lite and wil be published by the end March 2022.
